Shreveport, La. driver Brad Rogers was the winner of the $5,000 reward, part of a program that includes three rounds of vacation packages and cash prize drawings before culminating in a year-end prize of $10,000 for two associates.

Currently serving as a truckload fleet manager, Moorehead has played several roles during his time at Averitt, beginning his career as a part-time billing clerk. He has also served as Nashville’s service center director and corporate director of loss prevention, claims, security and safety.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn (December 4, 2013) — Averitt Express recently honored associate George Johnson of Cookeville for his 30 years of service to the company.

Johnson began his career at Averitt as comptroller, and has served as executive vice president of finance and CFO since 1986. He is counted among the more than 750 Averitt associates who make up the company’s “Over 20 Team,” an exclusive group of associates who have served 20 or more years with Averitt.
