Averitt Express was recently honored for its service quality by Mastio & Company, an independent research agency that specializes in the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry. This year’s award marks the seventh consecutive year Averitt has been recognized in the prestigious survey.
Customers from across the United States and Canada participated in the 18th edition of the U.S. LTL Carrier Customer Value and Loyalty Report. The collection of shippers, consignees and third-party logistics groups ranked Averitt the third-best overall carrier in the nation among a 184-member field.
Mastio also noted Averitt was one of just 13 carriers to exceed the industry benchmark for customer service.

The survey asked open-ended questions to collect qualitative responses, and shippers consistently ranked Averitt at the top of the list for attributes such as timeliness, communication, integrity and overall customer service.
Averitt received excellent feedback in numerous categories and earned best-in-class nods for knowledge and helpfulness of sales representatives, operations flexibility and truck appearance.

Averitt also ranked as one of the highest-rated carriers for its premium offerings at competitive cost. For its overall value, Averitt outperformed all LTL carriers.
The 2022 study surveyed more than 1,600 shippers and provided observations for nearly 200 freight carriers. Only 23 carriers met Mastio’s strict standards for recognition.
