COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (December 17, 2015) — Averitt Express has announced Wayne Spain has been named as president, in addition to his existing title of chief operating officer (COO).

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (August 19, 2015) — Rick Wey, a 21-year associate at Averitt Express and Brentwood resident, was recently promoted to director of weight and inspection for the global logistics and transportation provider.

As part of his new role, Wey will work closely with each of Averitt’s service centers to ensure that freight is being categorized at the correct weight and classification.
