Truck drivers and other associates at Averitt Express’ Dallas service center recently used some friendly competition to donate more than 7,500 pounds of food to charity.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — Averitt Express has been honored by American clothing company PVH Corp. (PVH) with its 2019 Leaders in Service award. Known for its long line of major clothing brands such as Van Heusen, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein, PVH selected Averitt as a recipient of this year’s award as a result of the transportation and logistics provider’s ability to meet and exceed operational goals, including on-time performance.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. —Averitt Express has expanded its facility in Laredo, TX with the addition of 35,000-sq.-ft of distribution and fulfillment space. The expansion increases the company’s ability to provide a wider array of supply chain services to customers that move freight through the continent’s busiest trade port with Mexico.

Averitt Express safety manager Jason Bolton was recently named as the Tennessee Trucking Association’s Hugh Galbreath Safety Professional of the Year.

For 30 years, Averitt Cares for Kids, a non-profit charitable giving organization funded by and on behalf of Averitt associates, has made annual contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, totaling more than $8 million.
