Averitt Express has opened a new distribution and fulfillment center near Dallas, TX. Located less than one mile from the company’s service center in Grand Prairie, the facility features 400,000 sq. ft of enclosed space to handle the flow and distribution of domestic and international freight and cargo.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — As part of its 50th Anniversary celebration in 2021, Averitt Express has recently announced pay enhancements for associates in its network of 85 LTL service centers.

The Topocean Group, a global freight forwarding and logistics service provider, recently honored Averitt with the “Outstanding Logistics Partner Award.”

Averitt has been honored by the Tennessee Trucking Association (TTA) with First Place Safety Awards for the company’s less-than-truckload (LTL) and truckload fleets. The two awards were presented at the TTA 90th Annual Convention in September 2020.

Averitt has been awarded the 2020 Clean Diesel Award from the Tennessee Trucking Association (TTA). Presented at the TTA 90th Annual Convention, the award recognizes the transportation and logistics service provider for its efforts in improving fuel conservation and sustainability within in its fleet.
