Each year, the transportation industry takes a week to recognize the unsung heroes behind the wheel that keep the American economy moving forward. This year's National Driver Appreciation Week (Sept. 9-15) is the perfect opportunity for carriers and shippers alike to honor our nation's driving force.
Throughout the week, Averitt would like to encourage shippers to take a moment to thank their drivers. There are many ways you can help us celebrate and recognize the drivers that visit your business this week.

This year, we’re putting another spin on National Truck Driver Appreciation Week to say thank you to Averitt's driving force.
During Sept. 9-15, for every person who posts a photo with one of our drivers on social media featuring the hashtag #OurHeroesWearRed, Averitt's founder and CEO Gary Sasser will make a contribution to Averitt Cares for Kids!
Averitt Cares for Kids is a non-profit charitable giving organization funded solely by our associates. For more than two decades, Averitt associates have touched the lives of the less fortunate through this program, which has donated more than $9 million to charitable organizations.
