Earlier this year, our team achieved a milestone by donating a record-breaking $1,200,001 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, facilitated by Averitt Cares for Kids. This non-profit charitable organization, supported and funded by associates giving $1 per week and company contributions in recognition of associate milestones and contributions, has been instrumental in impacting the lives of the less fortunate for over three decades.
Beyond financial contributions, our associates also contributed a year's worth of Play-Doh to St. Jude, providing a creative outlet for children undergoing treatment. We know that businesses can extend their impact beyond monetary support, and we wanted to foster an environment that uplifts and nurtures the spirits of young patients.
